It gives me a great pleasure to open this book by expressing my warm thanks and heartfelt gratitude to the Graduate Society Foundation, Los Angeles. The Graduate Society Foundation seeks the noble cause of propagating and preserving knowledge of diverse fields of culture and learning, and mainly focuses on those fields addressing the heritage of the Jews of Iran. In this context, the Graduate Society Foundation took upon itself the challenging task of translating my originally written English book into Persian.
